What Happens During Your First WheelHouse Health Telehealth Visit?
Know exactly what to expect at your first visit, from booking and forms to the conversation with your provider and the follow-up plan.
Before the visit
- Book online or call or text us at (571) 402-2102.
- Complete your intake forms in the patient portal.
- Gather your medicine list, any recent test results and your main questions.
- Check your device with our telehealth readiness check.
- Find a private, well-lit spot with good internet.
During the visit
- We start by getting to know you: your history, medicines, lifestyle and what matters most to you.
- We talk through your main concerns in depth.
- If needed, we look at things on camera, such as a rash, a swollen joint or your throat.
- We agree on a plan together: treatment, tests, referrals or lifestyle changes.
After the visit
- A summary and instructions in the patient portal
- Prescriptions sent electronically to your pharmacy when appropriate
- Lab orders at discounted cash prices, if needed
- A follow-up plan: usually a 30-minute follow-up visit or a check-in message
- Members can message us through the portal and WhatsApp between visits

How long is the first visit?
45 minutes for new patients. Follow-up visits are 30 minutes.
Do I need insurance?
No. Visits start at $85 pay per visit, or are included in a membership. Many people pay with an HSA or FSA card.
What if I need a physical exam?
We will tell you, and arrange an in-person visit in Woodbridge or at home.
