Joint injections
Steroid injections can reduce inflammation and pain in joints such as the knee and shoulder, especially with osteoarthritis or bursitis. They are not a cure and are usually limited to a few times a year per joint. We discuss alternatives and longer-term options, including regenerative and joint care.

Minor procedures
- Wound debridement (see what is debridement)
- Removal of some skin tags
- Treatment of some warts
- Simple wound care procedures
What to expect
- A consultation to confirm the diagnosis and discuss options.
- A clear explanation of benefits, risks and costs.
- The procedure, usually quick, often with numbing.
- Aftercare instructions and a follow-up plan.

Questions people ask
How long does a joint injection last?
Relief varies from a few weeks to several months.
Do joint injections hurt?
Most people feel brief discomfort. A numbing agent helps.
Can every joint be injected?
Not every joint or condition suits an injection. We assess first.
