What Your Primary Care Clinician Wishes You Knew
Insider tips for getting more from your care: what to share, what to bring and how to make every visit and message count.

Things worth sharing
- Every medicine, vitamin and supplement you take
- What you are most worried about
- Symptoms you think might be unrelated
- Whether you are taking medicines as prescribed (no judgment)
- Alcohol, smoking, cannabis and other habits
- Stress, mood and sleep
- Family history changes

Good questions to ask
- What do you think is causing this?
- What else could it be?
- What are my options, including doing nothing?
- What are the side effects?
- How will we know if it is working?
- What should make me call you sooner?
Follow-up matters
If a treatment is not working, has side effects, or something new comes up, tell us. Adjusting a plan is normal. That is why members can message us between visits.

How we work
Our visits are unhurried: 45 minutes for new patients and 30 for follow-ups, with the same clinician every time. See how to prepare for a telehealth visit.
Questions people ask
Should I bring a list of questions?
Yes. It helps you remember everything and keeps the visit focused.
Is it okay to get a second opinion?
Absolutely. Good clinicians welcome it.
What if I forget to mention something?
Message us after the visit.
