Three ways to be seen

Which option suits where you live

The farther you live from Woodbridge, the more of your care tends to happen by video. Whatever the distance, you see the same clinician, Lydia M. Wheeler, NP-C.

At home

Across much of Northern Virginia

Your clinician comes to you when getting out is hard, for example after surgery. Coverage depends on your address and the day’s schedule, so text us your address and we will confirm before you book.

How home visits work

By video or phone

Anywhere in Virginia

Follow-ups, refills, lab reviews and many new concerns, from home or the office. You need to be physically in Virginia during the visit. Most people in northern Fairfax, Arlington, Loudoun and around Fredericksburg use us mainly this way.

Areas we serve, closest first

Distances are approximate road miles from our clinic. Traffic on I-95, I-66 and the Beltway can stretch any trip, so plan by time of day, not by miles.

Eastern Prince William County

About 1 to 13 milesWoodbridge, Occoquan, Belmont Bay, Lake Ridge, Dale City, Dumfries, Triangle, Montclair

Our home ground. The clinic sits where Gordon Boulevard (Route 123), Old Bridge Road and I-95 meet, so Occoquan is about a mile away and Belmont Bay and Lake Ridge about three. Dale City is about 6 miles by Minnieville Road, and Dumfries, Triangle and Montclair are 10 to 13 miles south along I-95 and Route 1.

How people here use us: a mix of all three: the clinic for anything hands-on, video for quick follow-ups, and home visits when getting out is hard.

Southern Fairfax County

About 3 to 15 milesLorton, Springfield, Kingstowne, Franconia, Burke, Annandale

Lorton is just across the Occoquan River, about 3 miles away. Kingstowne, Burke, Springfield and Franconia are 10 to 12 miles by I-95, Route 1 or Route 123, and Annandale, inside the Beltway, about 15. Many people here commute on the VRE from Lorton, Franconia-Springfield or Burke Centre.

How people here use us: routine care by video, clinic visits for exams, injections or IV therapy, on a Saturday if weekdays are hard.

Western Prince William County

About 16 to 28 milesManassas, Manassas Park, Bristow, Nokesville, Gainesville, Haymarket

Prince William Parkway is the main link: it runs east from the Manassas area and becomes Old Bridge Road, which leads to our clinic. Manassas is about 16 miles away, Bristow about 20 and Nokesville about 23. Gainesville and Haymarket, out by I-66 and Route 29 at the foot of the Bull Run Mountains, are 26 to 28 miles.

How people here use us: most care by video, with planned clinic trips for hands-on care.

Arlington and Alexandria

About 17 to 20 milesOld Town Alexandria, Ballston, Clarendon, the Orange and Silver Line corridor

Old Town Alexandria is about 17 miles from the clinic, and Ballston and Clarendon about 20 by I-395 and I-95. Metro does not reach Woodbridge, so a clinic trip takes some planning around rush hour.

How people here use us: video visits and messaging, with a trip to Woodbridge only for hands-on care. Move anywhere in Virginia and your clinician stays the same.

Stafford and Fredericksburg

About 19 to 32 milesNorth Stafford, Aquia Harbour, Stafford Courthouse, Falmouth, Fredericksburg

North Stafford and Aquia Harbour are about 20 miles from us by I-95, Stafford Courthouse about 22 and downtown Fredericksburg about 32. I-95 southbound from Washington to southern Stafford has been ranked the worst traffic hotspot in the country. Many residents commute north or serve at Marine Corps Base Quantico.

How people here use us: video for most needs. If you commute north past Woodbridge, a clinic visit can fit on the way.

Western and Northern Fairfax County

About 19 to 31 milesCentreville, Chantilly, Oakton, Vienna, Falls Church, Tysons, McLean, Great Falls

Centreville and Oakton are about 19 miles away, and Route 123 runs south from Oakton through Fairfax City almost to our door. Chantilly, Tysons and Falls Church are 20 to 21 miles, Vienna and McLean 22 to 23, and Great Falls about 31.

How people here use us: mostly video. A 30-minute follow-up fits between meetings or after school pickup, and clinic trips are saved for hands-on care.

Loudoun County and the Dulles area

About 26 to 41 milesHerndon, Sterling, Leesburg

Herndon, next to Dulles Airport, is about 26 miles from the clinic, Sterling about 30 and Leesburg about 41, mostly by Route 28 and the Fairfax County Parkway down to Route 123.

How people here use us: video and messaging, with an occasional trip to Woodbridge for hands-on care.

When it is urgent

Emergency departments near you

WheelHouse Health is not an emergency service. These are the 24-hour emergency departments closest to each part of our area.

Call 911 in an emergency. Chest pain, trouble breathing, signs of a stroke, severe bleeding, fainting or a serious injury need emergency care straight away. Do not wait for a message reply or a video visit. If you are thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988.
